About

This is the page where you are probably expecting to read a story about my love for photography that I’ve  had since the day I was old enough to hold a camera.  Fortunately, you will not find such a story here.   I didn’t always have a love for photography.  In fact, at one point I thought that photography was an easy way to create art.  How hard could it be to point a  camera towards something, possibly at an angle, if you are into that,  focus, and push a button, then repeat. How easy is that?   You see, I went to art school, and I majored in Sculpture.   So, as I sat literally chiseling away at the piece of marble in front of me for months, all I could see were all  the photography students running around with hundreds of prints that they made in a matter of a week.  Real art  isn’t suppose to be that easy.206754 10150223474531278 596346277 8818010 4440017 n About

It wasn’t until it was time for me to start documenting my work that I picked up a camera and realized my ignorant opinion of photography was wrong.  So, I decided to squeeze in to my curriculum some photography classes.  That’s where the twinkle of love began.  My way of thinking completely changed,  photography was anything but easy.  It provided an ever changing challenge to capture something fleeting.  To this day, photography is still one of my true loves.  No matter how many years you spend with a camera in your hand the challenge to capture an amazing photograph is always present.

Wedding photography is all about the challenge of capturing the story of the day.  From the details of the dress to the emotions of seeing each other for the first time, all those things are what makes your wedding memorable.  When I approach a wedding my goal is to capture those moments and to tell your story.  There is no better feeling than after a long wedding day you know that I have captured something amazing for the couple to share for a lifetime.
